Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Keep the pressure on!

Business Insider and Yahoo both released articles today about how terribly the Tell Dell results were communicated and how horribly everyone views the company now. Please keep reporting on the dishonesty and incompetence of the corporate leadership. Expose those frauds until they are left with no other choice. Continue to let the media and public know exactly what we are dealing with in this company.

Unless Dell truly starts to care about their employees, nothing they can do will change the surveys going forward. The older generations know too much about the business and I'm just not going to perform and putting an extra hours like they used. In the younger generation is not going to go above and beyond without being compensated.

How do you motivate employees? Is this some sort of new concept that's never been around. How about reward them for their hard work give them benefits stock time off rewards bonuses. No matter how Daly has performed over the past few years more people get laid off almost every quarter. Did tell really think having their employees live in fear of losing their job was going to benefit their productivity? No they just hoped they could ride the wave long enough until they could write scripts to do everyone's jobs so Michael Dell and the rest of us see sweet crew could swim in their money and not give a. $&@$ about anyone. I truly hope it backfires on all of them.

I follow senior leadership when it's comes to the business, I just do not care anymore.
It's a reciprocal relationship, Dell does not care about me, I do not care about Dell. Just happy to do as little as possible and take the paycheck thank you

As soon as we all realise we are just a number and they don’t give a *^%# then the better off we will be…can’t change it even when we get a chance to voice our concerns, they actually don’t care!

I don't know why you are so happy. Do you really think big boss they will change anything after this report. The reality is we may lose our job soon because no one want to buy Dell products.

I wonder if Dell’s customers ever read this site. If they did, they might seriously reconsider doing business with a company that treats its employees like disposable headcount. This isn’t just noise from a few disgruntled workers, it’s an awakening.

It is good to see this get into the news and hopefully gets picked up even more. It's laughable that Dell responds and says they take it seriously and references, employee feedback and taking action as if they don't say they're doing that every year.

Dell went way too far with layoffs and taking everything away from their employees because they felt they have all the power to do whatever they please. Now it's clear employees are unhappy, less productive than they were when they were working remotely and no motivation to work harder because promotions and raises aren't what they should be. Racers aren't even coming close to keeping up with the cost of living. Dell absolutely does not take this seriously they will try to put their normal spin, but will not do anything to improve the culture they have created. The only reason leaders got higher scores is because they bully the teams into taking the surveys and giving them good scores and employees know that it is not truly anonymous and leaders can deep dive into pieces of the survey and figure out who it is.

Dell is no longer a customer and employee satisfaction machine. There are money hungry company who lost themselves and will never get back to what they were.

The louder the noise, the heavier the pressure. Are there even any credible news outlets left? Most just peddle fear and sensationalism for clicks. At least Yahoo and Business Insider seem to be sticking to actual data.

They get what they deserve. Good luck when/if you ever need to hire.
