I think Amazon should let these guys on the layoff plan go before asking them to relocate back to office first and then let them go in a near term. Relocating can be a big cost for many families, you possibly will have to your a home in expensive area, your kids will need to change school and you spouse might need a new job too. If Amazon just wants to save severance pay by giving RTO or firing order for reduction, please kindly just let these works know before making they move. A company with good faith deserve respects.
