Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Don't quit!

This apparently needs to be said. The leadership wants you to quit. Their goal is to get as many people as they can to walk on their own to save on severance. If you quit, you're literally doing them a favor. Stay and work. Quiet quit. But make them pay you to leave.

@h1 Pay attention on your last paychecks because they try to clawback even when you did not accept the retention bonus in the first place.

Also if you quit, you will have to pay back your claw back retention bonus PRE tax amount. They are literally trying to make money off forcing people to quit.

@ec That's my plan but as shady as Walgreens is, I'm sure they'll try to find ways to get rid of employees without paying severence.

Don't quit? Why would you want to go and work for a more prosperous, ethical company. Some of you just can't get away from Walgreen's no matter what. It's all you know and maybe its all you can get/have. Alot of Kool Aid loyalists. Life is too short to work in an environment like that...but you still do.
