I would be interested in hearing from a Market Coordinator as to the following: !. who and how was the news delivered to you? 2. What options were you given? What was your last day in the Market Office? What kind of severance package were you offered?

Market Coordinator is a position that can easily be absorbed. It’s not an “in-store” role. Many HO oriented roles can easily be eliminated, especially now that there’s some AI testing completed that shows there’s no serious decline in productivity or effectiveness. Associates they want to keep will be reshuffled, but Walmart will definitely use layoffs to dump undesirables. It’s their way now. From a fifty thousand foot level, this is just a way to cut salaried associates with bonuses as AI and more strategic data mining points to where they can cut US based associates.
