@4cb you cannot be serious.
@439 thats what they always say before it happens, champ ; )
@42d Good luck hun. Will never happen. :-)
@425 nah we will just unionize the company instead, thanks though
@3e0, Very true. Most people are just looking for something to complain about. Business is business. If you're not on board, you are free to leave.
Maybe you guys should find a website for bootlickers where you can talk about how much you love the company.
This company is run like any other. Go elsewhere if you have convictions to leave. Simple as that.
@1mn which division you belong to GP I mean like heartland tsys or other?
My VP is more transparent than probably corporate would like. We were told in our last town hall that layoffs will indeed take place in the fall. This is on par with last year as my department lost several people including management in Oct 2024. My point is always expect it, it’s never over.

@18g who or what is Elliott and what i.this grab your referring to? I must have missed that completely.
@18g You can literally just check the Worldwide Operations emails that get sent out, the management team regularly shares photos of themselves having lunches and dinners with teams across the globe.
@18g Ryan Loy and co
“Has went”??? Glad you’re not responsible for writing marketing copy.
@131
Who? Who is taking what jet to Europe for the summer? That sounds fabricated.
The Elliot grab almost definitely will create layoffs, which exec management will have almost zero say about. Stock price stable for the last week since Elliott was announced - it’s not known what their demands are or what they have planned at this point, but they are certainly known for leaving destruction in their wake in order to raise the stock price. Effectively a coup de état. Ba-f.
@17x I have also heard thru the grapevine about this happening in the mentioned time frame. Unsure of where the layoffs will be taking place. Anyone out there that has heard anything more?
@j3 how do we know there will be more layoffs in Sept/Oct? Is this just a guess based on pattern or is it happening for sure?
Only essential travel and expenses but the execs are taking the jets to Europe for the summer. You could not make it up.
Agree 100%. Honestly glad I'm one of the ones headed to FIS. Hopefully they'll do a better job with us. Fingers crossed the deal goes thru. I'll be glad to drop the "A Global Payments Company" tag from my email signature.
Yes the next round of layoffs is scheduled for Sept/Oct
One of the more renowned activist hedge fund investors seems to agree with you.
If the press is correct, the transformation program is about to go into overdrive.
I'm planning to pack a lunch.
