Tyson abruptly closed its Van Buren plant... almost 1000 people were affected. Some employees said they only found out about the shutdown from posts online, but nothign was here on the layoff. the Mgmt says Efficiency improvements but the local fallout was massive. small businesses are struggling... families are moving away- another rural town hit hard. nobody outisde the community cares.

@OP what are you trying to stir up? The Tyson Van Buren plant closed in 2023. The Oreo plant in Chicago that you mention from your other post closed in 2016! And the Smithfield Foods Vernon, CA plant that you mentioned in yet another BS post closed in 2023!
