Just heard a large number of folks in E-commerce were told today they were being let go. Anyone else hear anything?

Lenovo is a cr-p hole. What's worse is the job markey is not too good for the salary levels right now. Those affected need to plan on being out of work for 6-12 months or willing to work contract jobs. $50k jobs are plentiful, $100k jobs have 5,000 applicants within minutes. Not going to be easy in the RTP area for the rest of the year.

As mentioned, overall 3% according to news. NA eComm hit harder than that. Losing some really strong and experienced teammates.
Had a call with our top person and they could hardly look at the screen while telling the team that our team had been affected and whatnot. I'm not sure what the point of it was since the firings had already been sent out. Su-ks to be in this position during any time but esp. now with how terrible the economy's going.
In IDG warranty, we lost 2 people
3% of the workforce per a few articles floating around
I’m in SSG and I had a coworker or coworkers resource actions , just had a quick call with the team. Boss didn’t want to get into details but seems like they were caught off guard.
