Everyone is too demoralized to show up to the San Ramon office. The building is almost completely empty with e staff offices being the most vacant (obviously they care the least). What is the point of having an office, perhaps we could save a layoff or two by just removing the office entirely and being a remote first company.

It's true that people are demoralized. You can see it me people's faces in the halls. Tomorrow Mike will give another fireside address and make things even worse.
There is a lot of open space and probably too big for what we need, but it also isn't a 5 day a week in office place. On office days its not too bad all things considered for myself as a sales rep here.
Y'all heard Mike. Back to work.
Thursdays are pretty lively.
Only three days a week in office.
Half the company is in SF.
Large portion is remote, but having product onsite is helpful.
This post is lame, do better.
@OP if you are at five9, do us all a favor and get back to work. Also today is not an in/office day, mo--n. Attendance is normal, especially given summer with time off and travel. Get a life and stop posting bs.
