Toxic Incompetent Managers in Uncon Permian

how can this be tolerated? the level of toxicity? people cry and breakdown almost everyday. managers threaten and abuse. managers threaten based on PA outcome and career potential. who have allowed such non human people to be managers? and this is second line management. first line is still understandable to mess up, but second line management?

toxic and shameful. you know who you are. the ones that make people work crazy hours because of own incompetence to comprehend data. ypu filthy pieces of sh-t.

of course everybody reads, and they know what they are doing there just no effect of their actions and they know it. typically it should impact ones conscience, but then they choose those who lack consience to be ‘leaders’

Steer clear of posting personal identifiers like initials, titles, name mentions, and you should be fine.

Some good and some bad. All limited in what they can and cannot do by those making the policies. If you blame your supervisor for your ranking or PIP your anger is misplaced.

The business needs to recognize that moving people in and out constantly is bad policy. Find a few who want to stay long term and are good. Ones that like to be in the field to understand operations. And reward them to stay long term. That would be game changing. We have had some good ones who wanted to do operations right but they always get transferred once and it is back to square one.

Surveys say we have the worst sunflower management ever seen so I'm going to say nope they don't have a f*cking clue.

The worst ones spend all their time managing upward and are terrible to their teams and peers. One first line HiPo is well known for this behavior but nothing is done due to HiPo status.

@OP disagree with you. All of the manager there have been very pleasant to work with. It’s not me, it’s you

Are the second lines XOM not XTO. Most XOM people don't know anything about operations because we had so few operated projects. No idea what is required. Learned how to bully others that is about it.
