Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Trust the Trolls

When someone says “troll” what they mean is “I don’t want people to believe you but I don’t have a rational counterargument so you’re a liar”. But when you look at what “the trolls” are saying it all boils down to “Intel didn’t suddenly get competent in just that one area of doing layoffs correctly”. Do you really think it did when LBT isn’t showing any burst of competence anywhere else as a leader? (cite examples if you disagree). I don’t. Trust the trolls.

Trolls usually don't make arguments. They use stories to encourage various emotions. No one really cares though

People who call others “trolls” here show no respect to others. They must come from HR. Showing no respect is the general culture in Intel’s toxic environment. Can you show good manners?

Please listen closely as the worlds smallest violin plays a sad, squeaky Irish tune for the trolls.

Toxic hyper competitive backstabbing CYA culture, once established, is hard to reverse. Especially since those at the top have survived and thrived in it, it’s hard for them to diagnose the problem. Lip Bu is no magician and is just playing out of the McKinsey playbook of divest, layoff and ask employees to focus harder.
