Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Rinse and repeat

Watch once again as they let go of the best people while the ones running things into the ground keep their jobs. There’s no real direction here, just a bunch of empty talk and panic moves. Feels like nobody upstairs has a clue.

This used to be a halfway decent place to work, but now there's no teamwork, no trust, just people watching their backs. Seen this happen before. When you cut the wrong folks, the whole place falls apart. Sounds familiar?

@OP empty talk and panic moves is this place to a T. Whether it’s lay offs or just day to day work it’s all bs and then panic. Such a reactive company

Even if it's "just" onshore contractors getting let go, as I've heard mentioned, I know of some pretty productive people that are or have been on my teams that this would impact. Getting rid of them will impact our ability to deliver quality stuff, no doubt about it.
