Any guesses who is next on the TAS chopping block?

@7f5 One was a director demoted to Senior Audit Manger. Two others were Senior Audit Managers demoted to Audit Manager.
@7d1 interesting. What levels were these demotions?
@1yp 3 people on the CSBB audit team have been demoted so far this year. Never saw demotions before.
@63v I have no formal experience with Audit, If I were a Director there would be many people turning themselves in to the authorities for hopes of a leaner sentence.
It is not just the chopping block, people are leaving on there own and quickly after realizing how bad things are. I do not know how many managing directors and above have jobs. It feels like every time they open their mouth, it is nothing but excuses.
@s5 It is so funny listening to the USAA complain about the Wells Fargo people. Audit needs new managing directors and above to unite people instead of this play favorites that continues to happen.
I am grabbing popcorn. There are more on the chopping block. There are reasons Grant said raise concerns to him or his directs to start the townhall.
Chopping block? I have never seen so many people demoted as I have this year in TAS.
@1dr which one are you referring too, there more than one
There is a Managing Director that no one would miss if she left.
The TAS acronym is so unnecessary let’s just say audit so the non audit people can understand too
What is TAS??
I have not had the same auditor audit me since the merger. Everyone I dealt with (and really respected/liked) at hBBT has left the bank, now it is someone new everytime they need something. Seems like it is nothing but a revolving door.
TAS is a revolving door. Anyone that can leave does. It is amazing to see how many people do not last one year.
@r2 I hope some of the USAA folks.
@r9 so Grant like BB is a tool, makes sense now. Bill is running both areas. The madness never ends!
@fq BB was already over his head and failing. Now audit, smh.
Grant reports to Bill.
So to repeat, who do you think should go next?
@fv Atleast it is a direct report. There are many areas where there are teams of VP's who don't know what their area even does. Don't even get me started on the AVPs.....
@fq the Chief Auditor reports to the Chief Risk Officer at Truist?
Grant is in way over his head. With Bender as his boss this won’t end well either. Good thing Trump is in office. All the people in government who would be in audits shorts are busy fending for themselves and their government jobs!
I am glad most of DD’s awful hires are also gone, some of them were just as bad as she was. There are still a couple left and I hope Grant has a plan for them as well.
@aj agreed, DD should be used as an example in management classes of how one bad leader can completely tear down and destroy a very high performing and successful team within in a year. She is responsible for the current condition of TAS, GH is still trying to clean up her mess all while trying to learn about a function he had no prior experience with.
Audit was once one of the better run most efficient areas in the bank. Then our great and noble SunTruist leadership decided to tear it all down and rebuild it. Replacement (DD) made it a bigger mess, got fired, made a bundle. Current leaders are no better. Rinse, wash, repeat. Until this institution has a new CEO or is sold nothing will change!
@a5 poor quality audits
What’s going on with TAS now?
