@6zn
I think a lot of places are like this.
People confuse job postings with actual hirings.
Things are not good.
People will say the stock market is high,
but people should look at the size of the US debt, credit card debt, student load debt, and others. All that debt keeps going up and up.

Yes, layoffs have been happening for awhile and continue to be happening. Over 10% of two departments that I know of have been laid off last week. Offshoring continues, AI is just a convenient boogeyman. The numbers are lower than required for the Warn Act to kick in. Just be glad you’ll get a severance at Micron. Intel didn’t provide that for their latest round of layoffs. Here’s some friendly advice from upper management; don’t be asking for raises, come in on time, be friendly, and get your work done.
Saw the link posted recently and thankful to be updated of ongoing China layoff exercise

Bonuses will be coming soon and reward everyone for their hard work and contributions.
Micron is going to have to do something with all the people (were) working on NAND. Good luck....
Pray hard and you will have it.
Good grief, worry about things you can control. Focus on your job, get to work on time, stay late and for God's sake, do not be a breakfast badger.
