Rinse and Repeat! Staples strategy consists of laying off dept by dept year over year and then rehiring a percentage back. How does this company stay in business and how much psychological warfare should they be allowed to play on the associates. Nasty owners and leaders. All about paying the ones at the top and continuing to mess with those stupid enough to stay or comeback. I was one those minions. Not any more and can finally breathe.

Get rehired? I got laid off last November, and the only thing h=that I've gotten from them in the way of an interview were a couple of courtesy interviews with a recruiter, and one interview with a manager. Most of the positions that I've applied for were moved to "No Longer Being Considered For Position" without even an email. The problem isn't Staples, it's Sycamore. They've staffed the place with their "Yes Men" who don't have a tenth of a brain amongst them.
@k4 and this is the caliber and class of the associates left at Staples. Sums it up
The ageism is real at this company. All of the great leader gone. The ones in place now are fourth string at best.
