Houston’s highest-paid executives make over 200 times more than the median employees, with Academy Sports leading the pay gap. CEO Steve Lawrence had compensation of nearly $9 million in 2023, more than 400 times the compensation of the company's median-paid employee.

Interesting. I thought the cuts were only in one department for “budget cuts.”
