India needs to step up minority hiring, then only it will succeed on an international scale.
Recently most of the DEV work were outsourced to offshore (India). For last of couple of releases there were many PROD incidents. Even tiny things they miss and have no clue.
Very limited knowledge.. Its like dozen developers for $1, so to speak. Very disappointed and worried to see where all this going to end.
Smart move to outsource 1/3 US banking tech to a country and culture that can’t be persuaded to stop throwing trash and p oop all over the streets or build level sidewalks.
So wtf is a "Design" job? Something that ChatGPT can do? You're shocked that they are outsourcing it? last time I checked, if a system is functional and ugly -- guess what, its STILL FUNCTIONAL. Who tf cares about how it looks. Also, those people are overpaid and useless 90% of the time. India teaches its people coding from a young age, America doesn't. Let them have those jobs. A backend can be fixed by 4-5 consultant coders in America and then fire them. Those jobs arent necessary until it the backend or design "breaks" randomly.. You think they are gonna pay people to sit on their asz until the system breaks - Worst Business Decision ever.
