Different dates are being mentioned for next week, people are getting invites, but nobody knows yet what they’re about. Don’t get me wrong, I’m resigned to my faith, but it would be nice to have heads up if it’s layoffs.

The RIF meeting will be set for 15 to 30 min....either after hours or the morning of the RIF.
@ch Makes sense for optics. "Official" layoffs out of the way before bad earnings and "unofficial" layoffs via RTO announced on the call to appease investors without the negative soundbite. The future is bright!
Your RIF meeting will typically be titiled Please Prioritize and will be sent the morning of the RIF.
super odd to chop before the earnings call on 29th. onshore contractors have already been chopped though

17th is the day, not a rumor or a guess. I was forced to provide an individual.
very very few individuals know more than an hour beforehand. All rumors and guesses.

I wonder how many others will quit, especially those forced to RTO. I was hired as a telecommuter & found a new opportunity before the RTO announcement.

Based on reading the posts here since 2019 & even all the way back to 2017, RIFs will keep happening quarterly.
