Still at Intel, but it feels like we’re walking through fog. No one really knows what’s coming next, and leadership keeps selling “efficiency” like it’s a cure-all. But honestly, it feels less like careful trimming and more like uncontrolled bleeding. The workload's climbing, teams are thinner, and the silence from the top isn’t helping.

Sad to see a once great company run itself into the ground. Been through something similar in the crazy "Dot.Bo-b" days a couple of decades ago. Someone told me then that "You don't get the virgin in the volcano by telling them what you're going to do...." Turns out he was absolutely right. Maybe you don't wait for 'them' to tell you????
If you're smart enough to be in this industry then you're smart enough to get yourself into a better position...Remember, you're wiser now. It'll work out just like it did for me years ago.
