Roles impacted include those in R&D, human resources, and sustainability, mostly in the U.S.
The layoffs were disclosed via a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) from Washington state.
Glassdoor CEO Christian Sutherland-Wong will step down as part of the integration.
The cuts reflect a shift toward AI-driven product development, per Recruit Holdings and Indeed CEO Hisayuki “Deko” Idekoba.
Indeed's Seattle headcount was around 370 before the layoffs, with the office historically focused on product management, engineering, and marketing.
