Nielsen hasn’t had any new ideas for 20+ years. The closest they came was a streaming meter, which they couldn’t even get right. Heck, they couldn’t even get the battery covers for their remote controls right.
Speaking about Nvidia and Nielsen in the same sentence is like talking about AI and the stone tablets carried around by cavemen. Do us all a favor and let Nielsen die the disgraceful death that it deserves.
Nielsen is done. The PE owners are extracting the last drop of blood as they squeeze the life out of the company. Nielsen is not a company PE will invest in. It was not purchased to make it bigger or better.
If a great new idea was generated at Nielsen the PE firm would sell it to be executed somewhere else.

Their only idea is to fire super smart people that gave them 20-30 years of hard work and hire new people overseas for pennies on the dollar!

The obvious answer is “No.” Nielsen has never invested the money in the most important component of this company, keeping up with the technological advancements to stay relevant.
