Thread regarding RingCentral Inc. layoffs

New comp rollout

We use to get raises/LTI(long term incentive cash bonuses)/RSUs in spring, they kept moving it a few months out to save money, now they are doing it again. Last year we got raises/LTI/promotions in ~August now its October. On top of that, we no longer get RSUs and LTI, senior managers and above no longer get raises. They are making it more difficult to get promoted, meaning people that do get promoted have to really put in work, knowing they won't be getting any sort of bonus if they fail to get promoted. This is obviously being done to support investor sentiment. This place is becoming an absolute he-l hole to work for. They cannot offer good salaries, nor do they have decent retirement benefits, other companies are paying 20-30% more. There's 0 reason to apply for a job at RingCentral. They stopped giving a fu-k about employee culture after Coivd. Its only to appease investors to pump the stock which has been trash since after Covid. On top of all this they placate to the larger corporations saying we need to come into the office for "a better work environment". How about you pay me what I am worth and stop giving dogshit managers/VPs more money

They fired/laidoff so much of the tier 3 customer support team and deferred their clients to Tier 1 support. Which is nuts in my opinion

Honestly not sure anyone in HO knows what the plan is, so consumed by unsustainable YOY. Customers getting bled off by poor support and practices. Knee je-k reactions to everything. Focus only on sales ala tying clients up in contracts since they can't be retained afterwards mainly due to incompetent and infuriating support.
Calling that this is without a doubt a stall with the comps, to be preceded by more layoffs. Then you'll see the listings go up for same roles off shore. Can only offshore so much before you start to alienate your client base. Possibly before bleeding off your workforce that cares about positive outcomes for the company we shouldn't do things like pay a CEO millions to masquerade for 3 months then f-k off.
