I'm in a business-supporting function (think finance or accounting) and not in a technical role. We've recently been instructed to enter goals into Workday and update all our experiences so that leadership (VP level) can view them. While there may be valid reasons for implementing this, my gut tells me they might use these goals or updates as a basis for putting employees on PIPs, firing, or laying them off. We'll see.

I mean…. Quantifiable performance evaluation is a thing. These kinds of things also help justify bonuses.
