@cc The packages protect Intel from people suing over being fired. You can’t sue if you take the package and most people don’t have the money for a drawn out unlawful dismissal claim.
@a6 who told you that? But I agree that there was much less transparency about the package this year.
Does Intel have to give us a package? Aren’t these packages costing Intel a lot of money?

Looks like the same. My Buddy had 13 years in and will get similar benefits with my 12 years back in November.
The packages are still a document with words on it, so the same but that's not important right now.
I'm bummed. We were told no severance packages. But it's close to last year's. Had I known I would have asked my boss to pick me.

@a4 Yes, package is 4 + 9 + 1.5 weeks per year of service. Same COBRA benefit also.
