Layoffs have already started in June 2025. Very few projects available for the number of employees. Several projects have ended and no new projects have enough slots to move over available employees- they are laying off newly hired employees first then start next with employees with more time at McDemott company. Focus was on alternative energy type projects but with Trump as president those projects no longer exist- focus is now on fossil fuel projects.
