Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

I am just venting ... Sorry!

This is not layoff related. I just wanted let off some steam.

I work for the Q. But in all my past experiences, I have not seen such incompetent leads. The area truly am impediment. And after all, they get to evaluate me during the AR. Of course, their incompetence will turn somehow into my fault.

That’s what I felt before the whole team in NJ was laid off in 2023.

My advice is to mingle with the big boss and ask to switch to another team before the layoff actually happens. When the layoff happens, I saw that many good performers were let go.

Save at a minimum 10% to 25% of your salary. Learn how to invest (stocks, currencies, bonds, commodities). Get $2 to $4 million in working capaital. Retire/GTFO.

For example, with 3 month T-bills yielding around 4%, and $4 million invested in them you get $160K/annum in dividends (little to no risk).
