What's your take on the CX Americas RTO for RTP and Richardson? Is this just a way for Cisco to avoid LRs in Q1 by enacting a RTO? They estimate a certain amount of employees will resign anyway, so Cisco doesn't seem like the bad guy since they won't be doing LRs. Just a fancy way of HR and Legal to escape looking bad. We're onto you.

RCDN closing soon after the earning announcement.
CX Employees who live within a 50-mile radius of RTP or Richardson will work from the office two days per week starting September 8th, 2025 (Q1FY26). We are taking a phased approach with additional sites added in FY26 and beyond.

- What is your source for the alleged RTO mandate? Calling BS.
- You're an rtard if you think Cisco would do a RTO in order to trigger resignations or avoid an LR.
If Cisco wants an LR, they'll do an LR. They won't waste time & money feigning an RTO mandate.
We have an office in Richardson?
The only reason rto hasnt happened is because its cost prohibitive to setup an office and then run it. So cisco comes up with a genius idea to force people to be on camera and be in meetings back to back.
HR & Legal not look bad? LOL. Too late for that!
CX leader with people in both locations. I have not mandated RTO for anyone. It’s case by case and at the managers discussion. In some cases it makes sense, in others the teams are so distributed that going into the office adds no value. There is no nefarious plan to use RTO to LR people. In fact, I have never even been asked by anyone above me about who is or is not going into an office since the RTO thing started.
That’s fake news. There’s no RTO mandate.
