Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

At least the stock is soaring

Investors always seem to love watching people lose their livelihoods if it means a better return. It’s disgusting. Fu-k it all to he-l.

Company almost worth the 1998 value if you ignore inflation . Now that's what I call growth and return on capital!

Same thing last time when I was pulled over for going like 14 MPH over the speed limit. I just reminded the cop that I pay his salary and that he should be actively investigating or preventing crime instead of just sitting on the side of the road.

Investors OWN the company. If employees are lazy losers, yes, investors love to see them fire these worthless, lazy, money losing employees so the company can finally make some money. The flip side is that if the employees are winners, make a ton of money, they pay their employees a lot via bonuses and stock grants.

What is disgusting is that an employee can't figure that out, and think they are entitled to a job while their contributions results in losing billions of dollars year.
