I was part of that day. Fortunately I have ended up in amazing job with an incredible company. They actually value their employees. They have company functions outside of work to thank their employees and build up relationships. Something Canon forgot a long time ago. If you’re still looking for a job, keep going. Your new spot is out there somewhere.

Many are still out of work, too. Canon kicked all our as--s out into the worst job market in decades.
