Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Company spiral is faster then it can cut heads or costs.

Does it feel like a slow motion car accident? Layoffs continue throughout the month and doesn't it already feel there are still way too many heads?

That is a a natural feeling, of course, when you realize just how big the problem is. Losing $1B every quarter is a big big deal.

Everyone could see this coming for years and yet instead of a sane downsizing plan we get whatever this is, which goes on for months and months and folds into the next round without regard to morale. It is terribly inefficient, taking too long, and feels extremely inept. We are at the end game now, whatever that will turn out to be.

LBT will chop up and sell parts of the company which will close the gap you mention
