BB is an antiquated, out of touch sheep following what other companies do. Instead of 3M being a bold envisioned company amount peers, our leadership is looking to peers for what to do. If BB wants to go back in time, why not bring back profit sharing and offices too.
This sheep leadership has not brought anything impressive to 3M, except leading by fear and threats of terminations making it a hostile workplace. Sad day for 3M

I actually do a lot, and I'm worth more then they're paying me. I work hard, and I get results.
But my boss doesn't even live in my same country, so now -- with less productivity because I have to commute and deal with unsatisfactory office conditions -- how will I ever get promoted?
Just chill. It’s easier to do nothing productive while in the office than it is to do nothing while at home because they equate your physical presence with work. It’s not as fun but less stressful since you’re presence justifies your paycheck.
The innovation and forward thinking was BB bringing in all his friends to get fat dining on 3M carrion. And their friends too.
