I almost envy those who were laid off. At least they know where they stand. I'm off to bed but I doubt I'll get any sleep this entire week. And then it still won't be done for months. This isn't healthy. Having to stress like this isn't healthy at all.

@ae you are supposed to go at 5. 8hrs and if you can't get your work done during that time, maybe you are just an incompetent at work that struggles to even get small task done.
we know you need extra time on your task, because you su-k at it man! 😂 plus all of the good ones left last yr that was 3000 from Oregon, this time it was only 529.
@ae Nonsense. This has nothing to do with performance. I was a high performer and was notified I'm leaving. My manager wants the great results I give, just not me because he wants to keep the people he knows instead of the new person. If you think being a top performer makes you safe, you're kidding yourself, you just got lucky this time. And gloating about not getting laid off is in poor taste.
I was never worried. And already have confirmation our team is safe. Oregon ra site. Unless you see yourself as a low performer who doesn’t work a full shift (two multiple hour breaks or going home at 5) you have nothing to worry about. Getting rid of people of that type is very good for the company. This is a good day if they get the right people. Every person I’ve seen go absolutely su-ked.

@OP on the same boat as you. At this point I’m praying to get laid off tomorrow. Its either that or you stay here scared everyday until whenever you get laid off. Only good thing coming from not voluntarily leaving is if i get laid off I’ll atleast get the severance package.
