The F-35 belongs to the UK. They had to land in India because of engine trouble. Then they couldn’t fly.

There is "stealth" and there is "super stealth." We keep the super stealth for us. Other countries/partners get stealth only.
Why is the US government selling a 35 to India in the first place? Aren’t they a big part of bricks which is one of the countries trying to stabilize the US dollar
The F 35 literally flies circles around the F-18. I’m still amazed that the government would award a company like Boeing, who has been over budget and delivered late on every government program in the last 10 years the F47. It must have been awarded simply to avoid Boeing going into bankruptcy.

It’s very possible @h1 is like most Americans who don’t know about the un-flyable F-35 stuck in India. Also like most who don’t know how the western equipment from awacs to air defenses were were obliterated by Indian equipment during their skirmishes with Pakistan recently.
This kind of bravado that our equipment is the best needs to be tempered. Scores of missiles from Iran hit Israel and we couldn’t stop a single one.

Indian media should have a field day with themselves. India produces no military grade equipment aside from manufacturing Russian arms. If they do make something, it's not of export quality and what whatever plane they could hope to make would not be able to taxi a few feet.

This story is crazy. I can understand a plane losing its stealth capabilities in rain but how could it become incapable of flying?
My my. Americans are always complaining about the Chinese copying everything, but the J-20 is all weather. Never mind that the Chinese fighter jets bested the Western fighter jets in the recent India/Pak skirmish.
In the 90s, the B2 skin delaminated in the rain. They had to subsequently fix the skin panels.
