I get why they'd want to leave - things haven’t exactly been inspiring. But what kind of leadership actively pushes out the very people who know how to keep things running? It’s short-sighted at best, self-sabotage at worst.

AEP seems to protect to the useless. Half of my teams does literary nothing now. They will layoff indiscriminately but can fire anyone that won’t lift a finger.
Highly skilled and dedicated stakeholders got tired of taking a back seat to shareholders and corporate officers. Now, customers keep asking what happened to so and so, he could solve my problems. Why does it take 8 months to get a new electric service? Why have I had a completed building inspection for over a month and I am still waiting for service to be connected? Why was the meter left in the temporary service when it was disconnected and permanent service was connected? Why are meters being installed but their are no records of the installations to establish billing accounts? Why are employees resigning and retiring at such an alarming rate? Who is responsible for this nightmare carousel of chaos? How many peoples' jobs am I going to be expected to do? Why am I so tired all the time? Why does my back hurt? Why can't I sleep at night? Why should I even care anymore? I think I'll just roll over and go back to sleep and let it be somebody else's problem. Welcome to the new AEP.
If they walked out on their own then yeah. Dummy.
If we lost them were they so skilled to begin with?
For far too long the virtue-less tyrants in IT have te--orized the good people of AEP with impossible password standards.
Evil metastasizes as it is embraced by sinners seeking greater rewards for their evil deeds. Problem is those ill-gotten gains always come with consequences that must be paid like interest on a debt. Except in this case it is your soul that is foreclosed upon and their is no declaring bankruptcy.
Why ask a question and then give the answer?
We have not lost any. There were hardly any to begin with.
Because the bottom line, and bonuses at the top, are the only things that truly matter. Well, for as long as it lasts.
