Boeing has lost money on every defense program. They have won in the last 10 years.

Boeing has underbid and underperformed every defense program. They have won over the last decade.

The refueling tanker was a huge loss and was years late. Same for the new trainer and the MQ 25 refueling drone.

Given that history, why would the government choose Boeing?

Furthermore, given Boeing‘s history of losing billions of dollars on new defense programs what’s gonna happen when this program the F 47 which is the biggest program they have one in recent memory also has historic losses and is again years late?

That's an easy question. Because someone in congress is protecting Boeing.

Combine that with the fact that if ANY government contractor bid what it would really take to complete a program, nothing would ever be awarded.

The only people who lost was the taxpayers. At least we got a paycheck out of it.
