Farley is becoming the Jack Nassar of Ford. He will leave and become the fall guy for all that will happen. Pay attention folks, and have your resume current.
It’s all a pretext for the upcoming layoffs. Read the tea leaves. Notice how suddenly those who need protection have more reports on paper? Notice how on paper certain people appear more valuable? Notice subtle mini reorgs, particularly in HR? White collar North American workers are about to get a massive reduction. It’s Farley’s last act. His replacement will be announced post layoff.

Anyone making this claim is simply trying to grab headlines. No one knows what the AI impact will be. Their have been a lot of these predictions over the years. Go look at the predictions of how many jobs computers were going to replace.
