There is nothing more depressing than seeing the potential of an organization while knowing there's not a chance in he-l that potential will ever be realized. All this toxic positivity with prepackaged scripts and talking points by all "leaders" trying to convince you how special a place it is. Oh, don't worry about those silly survey results, you know how much you matter because we tell you. Sure, we don't show it with a larger bonus pool or merit increase pool or opportunities at career growth and development. But we call you Teammate, so clearly you know you matter. Of course we demand you return to the office because we need the tax benefits of having all this real estate and we need the ROI from the buildings we own. But we're better together and highly collaborative and clearly that means being in the office together, seated next to each other, with headsets on while talking - not to each other - on conference calls with members on your team that don't live anywhere near you. Keep spitting in our collective faces while telling us it's raining. That's the best way to make it a glorified Truist day! One Team!

@1c5+1jz5f56qd - That’s American capitalism buddy. Not just Truist. All about who you know and being visible.
And now any fair critique is painted as not having a champion mindset. We get peanuts while those at the top get millions. Just can't make sense of it.
This ain’t Hot Rod Magazine, pal!
@c5 It’s not just the retail branch network. It’s toxic in pretty much everything up through middle market.
If not in CIB, Wealth, or a select few large metro areas it’s pretty much cooked.
Ok
Yes this place is toxic especially in the retail branch network.
Well said, preach on!
Word on the street is, the CEO has horridly rank BO, too.
