Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Yes, I need this job

No, I don’t like it, and I don’t really appreciate it. Working here has become so boring and exhausting, with the constant drama of never-ending cuts that I’ve grown indifferent to because they’re just part of the background noise now. There’s not a single thing to hitch your wagon to, no creative idea, no attempt at one, not even a challenge that could spark some life into this otherwise completely gray and dull affair.

OP needs a puppy...Everyone likes puppies...Its a job...do it or leave..Its really that simple, or am I missing something?...Its a layoff site...did you get laid off? Noooooo...so maybe hitch your fragile wagon to a good counselor to get you thru these troubling and uncertain times

As someone who was desperately fearful of losing my job this time last year, you don't need the job as much as you think you do. Dell was ki-ling me. It was a wretched, miserable existence, but I was conditioned to cling to it.

And Dell not wanting to invest in tool automation makes where I work awful. Everything is sooooo manual and causes everyone to be so inefficient.
