Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

All In was the response to Tell Dell

Here’s a shorter, slightly funnier version with a dry tone:

For over a decade, Dell shared Tell Dell results by June.

This year? Crickets—despite record-low scores.

Apparently, Jeff’s “All In” email was the response to Tell Dell. That’s it. That’s the memo.

The takeaway: work harder, smile more, and please stop noticing things.

Voicing concerns got us a "be thankful you still work here."

@d1 Good take. Industry titans understand this is a time for maximal investment. Yes MS is cutting tens of thousands of jobs. But they’re doing it strategically in underperforming divisions that aren’t profitable. At the same time they’re pouring billions into VCs like OpenAI and their own internal efforts in AI. Ditto AWS. Ditto Google. Ditto Deepseek.

Dell? Just peanut butter spread cuts, and cheap a-s make it toxic til they leave. The cuts are all based on nepotism all while hiring keeps rescuing the least talented WFR refugees who live to collect a paycheck for another day.

Investment? What’s that? Here’s another $50 million for some vendor “solution” that won’t exist in a couple of years.

All In is probably the title of the book he’s writing (having written) to detail his wonderful career at Dell. All In is the exciting riches-to even more riches tale that describes the method of once you’ve milked everything you can from an employee send him or her by the way side.

WE ARE ALL IN. Well, except for a few thousand of you. You guys, get out. Oh, and a few thousand more of you in the next round, don't get too cozy because you probably gotta go too. We are already working on the stack rankings and WFR lists, but until you get your monday morning meeting, we need everyone smiling and committing fully!

Yes the all in was the narcissists reaction to what he created. While he thinks he’s doing a great job by cutting jobs, counting infrastructure by hand and not funding anything but demanding change, the rest of us, in reality, understand that’s plain and simply. He’s a mo--n.

It certainly was a response to the poor score. As transparent and disgusting as it comes. Does he think the employees are that stupid? He’s out of touch

I know of a team who scored enps at -27. Damning numbers for how employees view the company
