DEARBORN, MI — The Ford Motor Company made history once again with its recent debut of the world's first autonomous car to leave the factory and drive straight to the shop for repairs.

According to upper-level Ford executives, the fully self-driving car is the first of its kind to be able to make a direct bee-line from the assembly line to the nearest mechanic shop.

"This is really exciting, groundbreaking stuff," said Jameson Lloyd, who directs Ford's autonomous vehicles program. "No one else has ever been able to craft a car so self-aware that it can roll directly from the factory to the nearest repair shop, where all our cars belong. It's a huge step forward for Ford — this car will automatically detect all the mechanical problems that arise as soon as it leaves the lot and immediately head into the shop for repairs."

Consumers say they are excited to test the car's capabilities.

"It's always been a huge hassle for me to pick up a brand new Ford and drive it to the nearest shop myself," said Bob Bunsen, a longtime Ford enthusiast. "This thing will save me so much time by just going straight from the production line to get repaired all by itself. I can't wait."

At publishing time, Ford had released a software update for the car which saved even more time by driving to the dump instead of a repair shop.

You’re wrong if you think he literally said there’s “no future” for the company. That headline is clickbait twisting his actual point: Ford is warning about the critical importance of winning the China market to remain competitive, not announcing the company’s doom.

Every global automaker faces pressure in China. It’s the world’s biggest market and a battleground for electric vehicles and tech partnerships. He is emphasizing that losing ground there would be a huge setback, but that’s far from saying the company has no future at all. It’s a realistic business warning.

Also, blaming Google and Apple for “failures” is about tech partnerships, not the company’s survival. Ford is pivoting and investing heavily in EVs and software. It’s about adapting to a tough market. So stop spreading panic based on a misleading headline.

“You get in, you don’t have to pair your phone. Automatically, your whole digital life is mirrored in the car,”

And all your data is sent to Xi Jinping. Come on! Does this id--t know about the Chinese Social Credit System?

"Seventy percent of all EVs in the world, electric vehicles, are made in China"

And they have large "graveyards" where they park brand new BEVs to rust, since they are built to take in the government credit.

"The CEO blamed the company’s lack of EV presence on tech giants, like Google and Apple, because they “decided not to go into the car business,”

Funny he said that. Do you know who else is no longer in the car business? Ford. They got rid of Focus, Fiesta, Taurus (a nice car, BTW). Ford only sells performance cars, SUVs, and trucks. And even the SUVs are dwindling. Soon, Ford will be a "truck" company with a BEV dream.

“We are in a global competition with China, and it’s not just EVs. And if we lose this, we do not have a future Ford,”

Actually, Ford is in a competition against the whole world. And not only in EVs. However, I am sure that Ford would have a future, if the company gets rid of Farley, Bill, and all the executives, while axing the Model E.

“I don’t like talking about the competition so much, but I drive the Xiaomi,”

And that's a big red flag issue. If the CEO of Ford doesn't drive a Ford, why expect customers will? That's just BAD marketing. It would be unthinkable that a marketing guy like Farley doesn't realize the damage is doing by saying and acting like that, until you realize that the company has been losing market share since he was hired. So... is he stoopid or what?

“Farley has been keeping an eye on Chinese competition for months.”

It was Farleys job to keep an eye on ALL competition since he joined Ford in 2007, so he admits he hasn’t been bothered to do his job for years.

Unemployed can't buy Ford anymore. They rely on Ai and Robots to drive the demands like real people.
