@e2 Agreed. Let's get this buyout over with so the mass layoffs can begin. I would expect enough stock is held by institutional investors, Pessina, etc. that it probably wouldn't make much difference whether Walgreens employees vote no or yes.
These so called overpaid do nothings are irrelevant and have been irrelevant. They have done nothing for Walgreen's...that is not whining that is a fact. Yet some still think whatever their words are matter and listen to them. Just get the sale over with, the cuts/layoffs and loss of jobs begin. It's getting very old. Let the scavengers buy them and watch it all fall apart. My vote and I will be voting is a NO. Most will vote yes I am sure as those have been puppets for Walgreen's nonstop. Have fun living on pins and needles I guess. If you depend on Walgreen's for your livelihood, WHY? The company has faltered, why would you want to falter with it.
Here comes Sycamore. The rats are jumping.
Not until RB says so…
No idea but wouldn't be a bit surprised to see a number of the higher-ups get a nice buyout and make their exit when the buyout happens.
