Whittier Sears and Lockhart Kmart closing (links included).
Wow, so about 2 Years ago, I posted what I thought would be my last Kmart list. The reason for that, is it appeared that there would be no more Kmart closings. Then I posted what I thought was the last one when Bridgehampton closed, but I guess I was wrong, and so, my services are needed again. Glad to help! Of course, I would never post a closing without verification, because I'm a journalist, who has NEVER had to retract a closing even once.

Honestly, this really needed to happen. I have no idea why they opened up the 2 stores on St. Thomas, only 2 miles apart from each other. So the one in Lockhart Gardens is closing. For the record, this closing store is the St. Thomas location WITHOUT the pharmacy, so the last remaining Kmart pharmacy, in St. Thomas, will still exist for at least a while, it seems. Guam has a pharmacy, but it's not Kmart branded (as it's just leased).
So, long story short.......
3 non-closing Kmarts, List
We are now at 3 Kmarts total, and ONLY 1 of which is in the mainland. I have changed my map to reflect this as well:
FLORIDA
- MIAMI

TERRITORIES:
GUAM
- TAMUNING, GU (This location has an independently branded pharmacy that just leases the place).
USVI
- ST. THOMAS -P (The only Kmart branded pharmacy on Earth).
Statistics: Kmart is absent in 49 states. Now we have only 1 state, Florida, with a Kmart. This is the only Kmart within the continental United States, full stop.
There are now zero states or territories, that have multiple Kmarts.
In the territories, USVI has 1, Guam has 1, so there are 2 total stores outside of the U.S. mainland. There are 2 pharmacies in the territories, but only 1 is Kmart branded, and thus marked with letter "P" (1 in USVI). Total of 3 Kmarts left as of now that are not closed or closing.
