Breaking Up the Monopoly that Proved to be Vulnerable to Hedge Fund Manipulation

Ratepayers in each state must demand that AEP be broken up into individual electric companies whose leadership are headquartered within the borders of the states they serve. Furthermore, state governments and regulators must forbid hedge funds from corrupting state sanctioned monopolies for the deliberate purpose of exploiting ratepayers and employees, who are citizens of the respective states to prevent mass transfers of vast economic prosperity to out of state major shareholders. The vulgar abuse of the state granted monopoly status that has forced ratepayers to be compulsory investors in hedge fund enrichment schemes is an abominable crime of corporate and political collusion that has reduced citizens of the states granting the monopolies to the equivalent of state government sanctioned slaves to hedge fund greed and tyranny.

Agree with the previous commenter. That's the only way to go about it.

One fix could be that hedge funds can invest in power companies but they could only buy non-voting shares. That in of itself would limit their power over the company and the Board
