New thinking dies fast, usually because it steps on someone's turf or needs teams to actually work together. Push too hard and you're labeled difficult. So people stop trying, and the smartest ones either leave or give in. I used to care. Now I update my resume in meetings.

Well said and right on.
Been this way since SP acquired the company. The layoffs of the greatest leaders I have ever worked with was the final straw. No new ideas just recycled ideas and now no true leaders to execute in the ideas until they reorg and recycle again. It really would be quite humorous to watch this train wreck if it wasn’t so sad watching a great company get decimated and those that built it get tossed to the side.
