At the end of the quarter was supposed to be another layoff, if that's actually true, it might be in the next 2 weeks. This quarter started 2 weeks late so my assumption is they will wait for that time to be completed before they do another round.

The sad truth is that they are never “planned”. Mid year assessments will be communicated next month. If you get the “trending low” speech then you should be worried. Once they have you on a list, that’s all that’s needed to make a decision. No planning needed. Whether it’s Q3,Q4, or Q1, the names are already decided.
There is no layoff scheduled for Q2. Never was. I'm not sure where you're getting that there was supposed to be one.
@OP, what do you mean "there was supposed to"? If it didn't happen, isn't that enough indication that it won't be happening?
