For all of you complaining about the H1B’s, look at Dougie Mac’s LinkedIn.
He made a post with a picture of himself and the Stu Walton and other Walmart top brass meeting and kissing up to the Prime Minister of India.
They are sending jobs to India to convince the government to open there markets. Right now India has laws that prevent Walmart from selling directly there.
More H1B workers incoming. And more American jobs lost.
Are you suggesting, 2.5billion ppl market doesn't exist in India for wallmart? Only H1b which is <1% of India population issues they discuss about?

Yes. I would feel the same way no matter where the H1B workers were coming from. I believe that companies that operate and benefit from the U,S market should employ United States citizens first. If they want to hire people from other countries, go operate and sell your products there.
If this was in EU or UK or Japan, Korea.

Companies goes where they have potential business and earn money. In return they give fractions and get millions back.

Walmart already had a business interest in India that failed miserably. The company would be wise to just drop all interaction with India, get rid of all the offshore contracting and quit manipulating the H1B process.

There needs to be regulation on the H1B situation and I agree that tariffs are needed in certain industries to keep jobs in America. They need to start placing tariffs on services being outsourced to other countries, automation, or AI, too.
Maybe they figure out what the market rate should be for those jobs if an American citizen performed them and then charge the companies that amount per hour for every American job displaced. If something like that were in place, companies would only outsource if AI, automation, or people in a foreign country could truly do the job better.

They need to relocate their headquarters, they no longer belong in the "Heartland" of America, they can go where the belong better like California etc....China/India/Mexico/Canada ....... but they don't belong in the Heartland of America, they used Sam's first store and his accomplishments to create a Monopoly and outsourced American jobs to foreign nations, more or less wearing Superman's Cape but are the Villains. They need to move to a place more fitting, where everyone has blue and pink hair and Jane's are Joe's and Bobs are Barbara's and a person's value is judged by how many abortions they've had. They groom their people also, like a predator would groom their prey, sickening what I witnessed, they change their policy when they get caught doing something they shouldn't, they don't deny or apologize, just switch the names and sweep what they done under the rug. So--m and Gomorrah would be a perfect place for Headquarters.
