OP, if CPM now but not laid off, then you'd have the choice of ISP but not VSP unless you are ERP in which case you are out of luck because there is only ISP.
But not if you are CPM, or CPB.

This question is d-mb, OP doesn't even know what the acronyms mean because they are using them wrong.
Bankruptcy !
Yes. Nothing is guaranteed in the future, especially if things get really rough, and they need to save money and get more cheap. You are basically rolling the dice... bird in hand (current package), or maybe a bird in the brush (future). Also, if you are in a business unit that might get spun off or sold, then whatever your new company is will dictate any package benefits since it's no longer part of Intel.
No one is safe. You could get moved to another team only to have those functions moved overseas in another quarter.
Best to just assume your employment is always at risk and act accordingly.
not sure - my experience last year was - passed on Voluntary CPM, was chosen for ISP in November. I was promod in 2024. I dont think it will be over in 2025.
I don’t understand the question. As far as I’m aware CPM is an involuntary reassignment. If you’re getting reassigned to another role then you are likely safe from layoffs.
