50 mile radius is too far. I have talked with people in my area and no one can believe this is what a company is asking.

@422 with the avg commute in US less than 50 miles round trip, no one over 25 miles away from an office likes how the radius has been defined. I agree with the poster, they want people to leave voluntarily.

I wonder if this is an attempt to get people to quit without layoffs. AI is coming for your job, now if that’s Artificial Intelligence or An Indian, idk.

I have to go into an office where no one on my team is going to be there. I’m sure this is the case for a lot of other people. I’m just going to sit at my desk and have no one to talk to so what’s the point

Distance is radius no the route. On Google maps, right click a location and select Measure Distance; that will give you radius.

The distance given is 50 miles.

Is the mileage one way or round trip?

Is the mileage based on route, from say Google maps shortest distance or is it a radious based on the office location, even though you don't have that direct route?
