There is NO way half of the things going on in this company make it anywhere near MD. Our tool "developers" have ZERO clue what they are doing, they take the online class and BO-M they are creating tools. None of them talk to each other, display incorrect data, nor have the developers even asked for input from the people that use them. Nor do they compare results between the old tool and the new. (Really great when that output makes it to a customer)
You have Directors mandating their staff to use non company approved and potentially security risks applications. Even though there are corporate standards which is another JOKE at DELL.
They need to stop changing dept names, coming up with more acronyms and not even "bandaid" issues, actually fix them.
There is SO much wasted effort, funds and talent and stuff that never works. So much inefficacy. Interesting a company that preaches and hanging their hats on AI and barely use it, and what is done is SO WRONG and cumbersome. It actually is less effective and efficient than the manual way it was meant to replace.
Dells other "mantra" we want 50% of our management to be women. That is an awesome goal. BUT the issue becomes a problem when they put an unqualified woman in place to put a woman in place and do not hire the BEST CANDIDATE for the job. I have 1st hand seen a woman come in at the Director level into our Division, she was sent from another division because she bombed out there, so gave her a promotion and moved her, THEN she bombs in our division and yet GETS promoted and moved AGAIN. IT IS A JOKE! Any good staff we have the let go......
I'd love to sit MD down, have a co-ktail and flat out ask him do you have any idea what's going on under your nose.
Micheal Dell WAKE UP. I realize he doesnt need the money and maybe is looking to cash out and sell, but man to watch it go down in flames has to be hard no matter who you are.
