The Ohio site selection didn't make any sense in the first place. What kind of self-respecting engineers would want to move their family to podunk, a-s-backward Ohio in the first place?

They did the same thing in Germany. Communities have to start immediately on their infrastructure improvements so they had a lot invested already.
