@n2 Yeah it seems a lil sus after all the OT emails, back to back calls regardless of sales and the 4th coming up
So call volume is down these last couple days and they’ve put out some VTO. Hopefully this is a sign that they’ll let some of us go tomorrow.
Hopefully Talent and Corporate are impacted???? More like goodbye Customer Service teams, the offshore folks have your job in hand now.
@f6 I doubt there will be a big layoff at corporate since they have been chiseling away at departments each month. I know of one department that has been hit with layoffs once a month since March.
I don’t have any proof, but I think they originally were planning a layoff but with how much more call volume is coming in above forecast, and how many they fired for d-mb reasons. I don’t think they will as we cannot afford to get rid of agents. Who knows though, Wayfair isn’t know for making smart decisions so they could still layoff
Hopefully Talent and Corporate are badly impacted.
This may be why we have a blackout on time off and mandatory shift changes in customer service for the month of July.
Bloodbath in customer service. They are already planning for no time off for certain depts to take over their phone calls.
